HART IRU goes live and the project component evaluation process begins at London Ambulance Service (LAS) on 8^th January 2007.
April

Following the installation of HART IRU in LAS work progresses on developing the roles and remit for national roll-out. North West and West Midlands Ambulance Services are identified as the next Trusts to participate in the programme.
May

HART USAR recruited and trained in YAS.
September

HART USAR goes live in YAS.
October

Decision taken to recruit for HART in NWAS and WMAS beginning initially with a small team of USAR trained paramedics in each.
